If you receive a late filing penalty from Companies House and for whatever reason the penalty is not paid on time. Companies House will ask their debt collectors to take action. Ultimately the matter will be decided in the County Court or Sheriff Court. I addition, they may seek to recover their legal costs if the court finds in favour of the registrar.
