Company business activities & SIC codes

In your annual return, you must provide your principal business activities and the SIC codes.

SIC stands for The United Kingdom Standard Industrial Classification of Economic Activities. Companies House and Office for National Statistics used the SIC code to classify each company’s trading activity.

Full list of SIC codes is available here. http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/infoAndGuide/sic/sic2007.shtml

If you cannot determine or cannot find an SIC code that closely match your principal business activity, you must provide brief description of your trading activity in the annual return form.

If you require help in completing your annual return, our London Accountants at Concise Accountancy is more than happy to assist you. Feel free to contact us today.
