The UK company law requires all Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) to file their accounts with Companies House on time. The filing is required regardless whether your LLP has started trading.
Companies House will issue late filing penalty to your LLP if the accounts are filed late. You will have to pay the minimum penalty even if your LLP accounts are only one day late. The penalty is sent to your LLP registered office address and the penalty amount involved is dependent on number of days delayed in delivery of your accounts.
| If you deliver LLP accounts late | LLP Late filing penalty |
| Less than 1 month | £150 |
| Less than 3 months | £375 |
| Less than 6 months | £750 |
| More than 6 months | £1500 |
