There is no exception or exemption and this includes dormant company and non-trading incoporated business. There is late filing penalty if your company accounts is late even just by one day.

Confirmation Statement (replaced the Annual Return)

Companies House requires every limited company to file its confirmation statement every twelve months. This confirmation statement replaced the filing of Annual return.
