Limited liability partnership (LLP) and limited company are legally required to submit their accounts to Companies House by the statutory due dates.
The registrar of companies will issue late filing penalty if failed to do so. However, if y you foresee there will be delayed in completing your LLP/company accounts and the situation is not within your control, you may contact Companies House to request your LLP/company filing deadline to be extended.
Companies House will only approve your request to extend the period allowed for filing your LLP/company accounts if the reasons are exceptional.
