Companies House Business Names Registration Policy
To use these words in your company names the public would expect your company to be working or campaigning for the better protection or promotion of human rights, at home or abroad or providing a legal, advice or training service in relation to human rights.
Companies House may approve your company name provided that the full name does not unjustifiably suggest a special status in relation to the council of Europe, the human rights act, or one of the human rights commissions.
The aim is to ensure that the use of this word in your company names is justified and it does not mislead the public.
